Scale model testing

Scale model testing at MARIN. In moderate North Sea waves a 1:12 scale model can generate substantial amounts of electric power.

Tests were conducted to prove safety features. During storms the Slow Mill can generate full power while diving under the larger waves to avoid snap loads or it can block the PTO and dive. There's even the possibility of staying under the surface permanently.
